Alfred Molina is an evil man who takes over a town by creating a fake gold rush. Brendan Fraser is the Canadian Mountie who has to stop him with the help of his childhood sweetheart Sarah Jessica Parker. Even as a family comedy this is poor with little in the way of plot or character development and the humour is limited. A good cast has nothing really to work with.
