A bank clerk (Lee Remick) is attacked by a man with an asthmatic voice (Ross Martin) who threatens to kill her and her sister (Stephanie Powers) if she does not rob the bank for him. She works with the FBI (Glenn Ford) to catch the man. This is as much a psychological thriller as a crime thriller and has plenty of suspense and a good climax in Candlestick Park that is well produced by Blake Edwards.
