A pair of night club singers decide to audition a female singer to update their act. They recruit Michelle Pfeiffer, who improves their act, but also affects their relationship with each other. The scene where Michelle Pfeiffer sings on top of Jeff Bridges piano is very sexy. Michelle Pfieffer did actually sing all her songs herself.
