A well todo man (Arthur V Johnson) who is courting a lady (Florence Barker) knocks over another man (Mack Sennett) with his car. In recompense he gives him money and buys him new clothes and in response he promises to stay near his new friend, but the man keeps trying to get away from him. This is one of a number of comedies made by DW Griffith and featuring Mack Sennett, though there is nothing particularly inspiring with this film.
