The owner and manager (Ruth Chatterton) of a car factory has short affairs with male members of her staff, but her emotions are upset when she is turned down by a handson new engineer (George Brent). Ruth Chatterton is the feisty female business woman not afraid to use her sexuality in the this pre-code drama. She gives a good performance in this well produced film, though the ending does undo the strength of her female character.
