Bruce Willis is a taxi driver in the 23rd century but who is also ex-military. When Milla Jovovich falls into his taxi, he gets caught up in a battle to save the world from an evil force. A slightly bizarre and at times comic story that starts well but gets lost as the film progresses. However Ian Holm and Bruce Willis both give entertaining performances. Mila Jovovich goes from being a created being with no experience or understanding to saving the world in a short space of time with the help of Bruce Willis. Gary Oldman is the sardonic almost comic charcter who wants to take over the world and palys him very well.
