A fire insurance investigator gets involved with woman through a series accidents and as their animosity turns to love he discovers that her father is planning an insurance fraud by burning down his warehouse and putting in an inflated insurance claim. The plot and acting are nothing great, with the best part being the final fire scene and a competent performance from Evalyn Knapp.
