An anthology of three horror / occult stories.
A plain woman is given a mask that makes her beautiful after she falls in love.
A man is told that he will kill someone and this plays on his mind and he plots to kill people.
A high wire artist dreams of falling and sees a woman in his dream and then he meets and falls in love with her.
The segements play on the mix of suggestion, fanatsy and hallucination and they feed into reality. The second and third segments are the stronest, thanks to the performances of Edward G Robinson and Barbara Stanwyck.
