A beautiful trapeeze artist marries one of the other circus performers who is a midget, but the other circus performers decide to take revange when they discover she is only after his inheritance. This is film is more about the characters with their various physical deformities who were all people who appeared in freak sideshows and some in other films. A film that could not be made today as it challenges our views of disability but also th eunderlying vioilence. This remains a disturbing but interesting curiosity that is difficult to watch today.
