Comment/Synopsis

A seaside town decides to hold a film festival to boost its popularity. When a famous French filmstar agrees to attend, there is chaos as they try to get her from France and more once she is in England. This is a light British comedy with a fun performance from Maris Mell as the French film star and Alita Naughton as the spurned girlfriend. This is entertaining but not a classic, despite being directed by Ken Russell and hence has several surreal scenes.
