A search and rescue team are sent to a distant planet to find out what happened to a spaceship that crashed on the planet. The crew are killed off one by one by various aliens linked to a mysterious pyramid that uses people's fears against themselves. This is Roger Corman's loose take on the Alien films. The film is uneven with the best parts being where the monsters appear including the bizarre scene when the woman is raped by a giant centipede like creature.
