A couple (Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike) are about to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary when the wife goes missing. The investigation develops into a media circus and the hidden parts of their lives start to be exposed and their motives. Whilst the film is long and slow at the begining, the story is very good and the various plot twists keep the viewers interest right through to the end.
