Russell Crowe is an English city trader who inherits the house and vineyard in France of his uncle with whom he had spent his childhood. He goes to France to sell the property where he meets a beautiful local woman Marion Cotillard and an American Abbie Cornish who claims to be his uncle's illegitimate daughter. This is a film of a man coming to terms with what is important in life has some good moments, some cliches, but also some nice filming as expected from a film directed and produced by Ridley Scott.
