The painter (Stellan Skarsgard) Goya gets caught up with the Spanish Inquisition (Javier Bardem) when one of his models (Natalie Portman) is arrested by them. This is a spralling epic, that deals with a whole range of human situatins and emotions (love, politics, religion, death, betrayal). Parts of the film are visually impressive and there is a good performance from Natalie Portman. This was Milos Forman's last film.
