A manicurist (Caroloe Lombard) who intends to marry for money is cultivating a relationship with a wealthy but disabled man (Ralph Bellamy) and then she meets a man (Fred MacMurray)whose family have lost all their money and is also planning to marry a woman (Astrid Allwyn) for money. This is an entertaining romantic comedy of opposites attract with a charming performance from Carole Lombard trying to decide between love and money and Fred MacMurray as the lost playboy finding love.
