When people start commiting suicide in New York and then across north east USA, a school teacher (Mark Wahlberg), his wife (Zooey Deschanel) and the daughter of a friend escape into the country in an attempt to survive. Whilst director M Night Shyamalan has made some good films, this is not one of them. The plot is pretty silly, despite what started as a good idea and the performances from both Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel are very flat, and they have both given much better performances.
