A widowed woman (Kellie Martin) and her two children (Erin Pitt) are trying to come to terms with the death of her husband, when they have a chance meeting with a charming and rich bachelor (Kavan Smith). They start to fall in love despite the opposition from his mother and her daughter. The telephone messages from her dead husband are a bit strange, but Erin Pitt does well as the struggling teenager.
