Classic western that is notable for being shown in real time, as time counts down to the baddies arriving in the town that Gary Cooper is trying to defendHe tries to get the townsfolk to help him but they are reluctant to help him. This has a good performance from Gary Cooper, partly because he shows real fear and pain. The film is unusual in that it runs in real time which builds up the tension. The film is also about the moral dilema of leaving with his new wife or dealing with the bad men.
