Bud and Lou inherit a mansion from a ganster but his gang are after them and the money he has hiddden in the house. They are stranded in the house along with some radom people but then it seems that the house is haunted. This is one of the better Abbot and Costello films and is basically a variation on the haunted house theme. It is helped by the comic performance from Joan Davis, and Evelyn Ankers brings some elegance to the film.
