Tim Matheson is a corporate executive who is sent a few days before Christmas to assess if major redundancies can be made at a tractor factory. On the way he has a car accident in the snow and meets the attractive and widowed Melissa Gilbert and her daughter. The plot is not orriginal and the dialogue is not great, but this is a surprisingly engaging film, not least thanks to the contribution from Melissa Gilbert.
