A mild mannered man (William Powell) is travelling home on a boat when he gets a bang on the head and resorts back to his previous wheeler dealer character. He returns back to his home town where he tries to set up a deal and also falls in love with his wife (Myna Loy) who was about to divorce him. There is a good performance from William Powell as the amnesiac romancing his wife and Myrna Loy as the woman falling for her husbands alter-ego.
