The writer of a newspaper gossip column (Ralph Forbes) get involved in solving the murder of a night club singer (Agnes Anderson) with the help of his photographer (Marion Shilling) when the the prime suspect is one of his friends. This is a typical crime drama from the 1930's and one of a number where the crime is solved by a reporter. This is an average version of the plot.
