A provocative circus performer (Mae West) who sing, dances and tames lions also has a string of men enamored with her and giving her lots of presents. In need of money she agrees to put her head in a lions mouth, which brings her success and a move to New York. Following the financial success of her previous film for Paramount, they gave Mae West pretty much free reign with this film which wrote, including the dialogue. This is arguably her best film as all her best one-liners are here delivered with style and sassyness.
