An ordinary American housewife shrinks to a few inches tall due to combination of household products. After becoming a media sensation she is kidnapped a by a group wanting to minaturise most of the world. The film revolves around the performance of Lily Tomlin as the shrinking woman. The plot is not great and the jokes very variable. The film is mainly notable for being the first feature film directed by Joel Schumacher.
