Anne Parillaud is a vampire who after she has fed makes sure she kills her victim to make sure she does not create more vampires. However when she is interupted after feeding on mob boss Robert Loggia she has to work with under cover policeman Anthony laPaglia to stop him creating a whole criminal gang of vampires. John Landis (of American Wearwolf in London fame) delivers a modern and original variation on the vampire theme and the various clips from classic black and white horror films that appear through the film.
