Anna Neagal is an Irish lady in America who works in a shop and when at a society house she meets a man who takes a shine to her and gets her a job modelling expensive dresses. At a society party whilst modelling a dress she is mistaken for Irish gentry and joins society. However another jealous model plots to expose her. Gentle entertaining romantic comedy with a good performance from Anna Neagle as she acts, sings and dances through the film.
