A news reporter is given the next day's newspaper but his attempt to use it to his advantage causes him problems instead. When he correctly predicts a robbery, the police think he is involved and things are complicated as his new girlfriend is part of a fake mind reading act. The story is as much romantic comedy as it is about knowing the future. Dick Powell is OK in the lead role, but Linda Darnell is underused and Jack Oakie is over the top.
