A couple (Loretta Young and John Forsythe) with a young family leave New York and buy a weekly newspaper in a small town have all sorts of problems in trying get the paper out and increase the circulation. This is a light comedy as the couple come up increasingly wild ways of raising circulation but most of them backfire.
