Director: Francis Ford Coppola
Producer: Francis Ford Coppola
Robin Williams is a boy who is born with a disorder that makes him age 4 times faster than normal. The film revolves around his time as ten year old who looks like a 40 year old. His parents have to cope with him going to school for the first time and he has to come to terms with being different from his classmates. Robin Williams gives a typically enthusiastic performance as an adult man playing a child, but Diane Lane gives the the most sympathetic performance as the mother coming to terms with the changes in her child and its implications for her and him. Francis Ford Coppola has produced an entertaining film, but this is not one of his best films.
