With dinosaurs now restircted to the equator a team travel to an island that was a research facility to get blood samples and along the way rescue a family whose boat is sunk by giant ocean dinosaurs. The plot is basically a series of disasters and encounters with dinosaurs with a weak sub plot of an annoying family caught up in the original plan. Whilst the CGI animation is good the film is let down by poor characters and a plot that moves with unlikely and inconsistent events.
