Comment/Synopsis

A very prim and proper librarian meets an unconventional commercial artist. The path of love has its us and downs due to various misunderstandings. The plot is familiar to many rom-coms since, but what sets this above most is the performance of Ann Blyth as the innocent woman who sizzeles with repressed sexuality. It is also helped by supporting performances from Cecil Kellaway enjoying himself as the uncle who is hen pecked by Elizabeth Patterson.
