Comment/Synopsis

Deborah Kerr is the prim English school mistress who goes to Siam to be governess to Yul Brynner as the King. This is a well produced and lavish version of the stage play that has set the standard for film musicals ever since. Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr are well cast and act the parts with style.
