An art dealer is murdered just before he about to change his will. A private detective (Reginald Denny) , his secretary (Patricia Farr) and the police investigate and turn up plenty of suspects, fake antiques and stolen bonds. The plot is well worked and there is an interplay between Reginald Denny as the private detective and patricia Farr as his secretary. Their banter is supposed to be light but comes over to modern audiences as derogatory. There is good support from Dorothy Revier as the wife and Claudia Dell as the daughter.
