Backstage at a Burlesque theatre there are various personality clashes that become heightened when one of the girls is found killed (with her g-string of the original novel title), Barbara Stanwyck is the prime suspect, and when another girl is killed she devises a plan to expose the real killer. This has a good plot and a good performance from Barabara Stanwyck that shows off her comic and dance talents as well as her acting skills.
