A young man and woman are introduced to each other by mutual friends, but the date goes badly. When their friends are killed in a car accident the two mismatched people discover their friends had made them joint guardians of their daughter. They have to learn how to be parents, how to live with each other and discover themselves. The basic premise of the plot is OK, it is just that the script is poor. There is no depth to the plot or the characters.
