Hope Hampton arrives at a boarding house where she meets Lon Chaney. After she falls ill, she tells him the story of the Holy Grail which can heal people if you touch it. She reads in the paper that her previous love has found the grail and so Lon Chaney goes and steals it to heal her. There are good, but understated performances from Hope Hampton and Lon Chaney as well as some good atmospheric photography given that it was filmed in the early 1920's. The original film has been lost and available versions are significantly shorter but it is still worth watching.
