Comment/Synopsis

After 12 years in prison for a crime he did not commit, a man (John Mills) is released from prison and seeks revenge of the witnesses who lied in court to send him to prison to save themselves. Hiding out on a derelict boat, he is followed by the police (John McCallum) and a newspaper reporter (Geoffrey Keen). He is also befriended by an immigrant woman (Eva Bergh). The film touched on the consequnces of guilt and revenge, though the consequences of some of the charcters actions are left unexplored. John Mills is good in the lead role and Eva Bergh gives a supporting performance in one of only a couple of English language films she appeared in.
