In oder to raise money to produce his play a man takes a bet that he can start in New York in his underwear and get to California with money, a suit and a fiancee in 10 days or be a meat packer. Fortunately he meets a woman and her aunt also on their way to California but for different reasons. This is a very entertaining road movie as two different people fall in love as the spend time and adventures with each other.
