A 30 year old perpetual student (Ashley Newbrough) is sent by her professor (Barry Bostwick) to help at a primary school in an attempt for her to find a focus for her dissertation. There she befriends a withdrawn child (Jaeda Lily Miller) and starts up a relationship with her widowed father (Wes Brown). This is a typically bland and implausable Hallmark romance.
