Comment/Synopsis
A woman visits her old family home in Cornwall only to find there is a mermaid living in a cave underneath who looks just like her, and the mermaid pretends to be her. Glynis Johns is entertaining playing both the woman and the mermaid. There is good support from a British cast including Margaret Rutherford as the nurse who is in on the change and, Anne Crawford as the woman who works out what is happening and Dora Bryan as the mischievous mermaid. Whilst not a great nfilm, it is an entertaining follow up to the earlier Miranda film.
