A man (Don Ameche) runs a success school, but it is not very successful. So he and his girlfriend (Lynn Bari) come up with the idea of finding the least successful man and recruit him as publicity for the school. The problem with him (Henry Fonda) is that he is very happy with his life and does not want to be successful. Things get complicated when Henry Fonda falls in love with Lynn Bari without realising she is engaged to Don Ameche. There is a good performance from Lynn Bari who brings some charm and elegance to the film opposite the comedy of Don Ameche and the simple naivety of Henry Fonda.
