A woman pretends to be 12 to get a cheap rail fare for her trip back home and on the train meets a major who takes her to the camp he works at and meets the cadets and his fiance. She falls in love with the major but keeps it hidden as she is still pretending to be 12 and she is helped another teenager (Diana Lynn). Whilst Ginger Rogers is a good actress she is not convincing as a 12 year old. The plot is therefore very silly but despite that it is entertaining. Not the best of Ginger Roger's films.
