This is a variation of the sleeping beauty story with Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) as the angry fairy who curses the baby Aurora (Elle Fanning), but then develops feelings for her. This is well produced and visually impressive version of the story and gives a different slant on the character of Maleficent.
