A young man falls in love with a red haired girl and over a number of years has affairs with various red headed women who are all played by Moira Shearer. Despite being based on a Terence Rattigan play the plot is not really very inspiring and neither is the acting great. It is notable for Moira Shearer acting and dancing and an early performance from Denholm Eliott. The film is based on a play by Terence Rattigan.
