A spoiled entitled woman is prosecuted and sent to prison after she kills a policeman in a car accident. The twist is that she is prosecuted by a man that she has a love hate relationship with. This is an in your face anti-elitist morality tale with a strange romance that is awkwardly added on. Claudette Colbert is OK in the lead but it is not the best of her films.
