William Hurt and Robert Pastorelli are two reporters who with Andie MacDowell (a dog trainer) are sent with a dog by Bob Hoskins to investigate reports of a angel living with an elderly woman. John Travolta is the unconventional angel who smokes, drinks and chases women. This is a mildly entertaining comedy with a romantic sub plot between William Hurt and Andie MasDowell.
