Hugh Grant is an innocent English auctioneer living in America who falls for Jeanne Tripplehorn, the daughter of a Mafia boss. Hugh Grant then gets drawn into a money laundering scam by auctioning paintings by his potential brother in-law. As he gets dragged further into her father's (James Caan) plans, he decides to try and get out. Hugh Grant ends up setting up a sting operation so that he can marry the Jeanne Tripplehorn and put the bad guys in prison. A well paced romantic comedy with good performances from Jeanne Tripplehorn and James Caan with a typical performance from High Grant.
