An out of work actor and his con-artist friend break into a mansion one night for somewhere to stay and the next morning the staff think he is the long lost son of the family, so they decide to stay and pretend to be the son. Things get complicated when the wife of the real son turns up to say he is in prison accused of murder and can he help to prove his innocence. This is a mildly entertaining comic mystery that moves along quickly and with a small love interest iwith Barbara Read.
