A woman (Doris Day) walking through a park in the fog hears a voice threatening to kill her. She then starts getting similar phone calls, but her husband (Rex Harrison) and the police (John Williams) do not believe her. Is she going mad or is her life really in danger? The plot is a very loose variation on Gaslight and largely predictable, but it is the performance of Doris Day in a straight dramatic role that caries the film. She is good as the woman being pushed to the limits of her sanity. There is good supportfrom Myra Loy and a suitably creepy Roddy McDowall.
