When her father dies after being sacked as the preacher in the church he has been with for many years, a young woman (Barbara Stanwyck) loses her faith and she teams up with a con man (Sam Hardy) and after performing fake miracles becomes famous. Things change when she meets up with a blind man (David Manners) who comes to her looking for help and a miracle. The film revolves around a very good performance from Barbara Stanwyck that shows off her range of talents.
